Who is Parks n' Pints?
Parks n' Pints is Julie and Ryan – defenders of parks, lovers of craft beers, former National Park Service employees, and road trippers extraordinaire, with a bad case of wanderlust. We care deeply about wild places and wild things. We also want to support and promote locally sourced, locally owned breweries that have become increasingly important parts of our communities.
What is Parks n' Pints?
Parks n' Pints is dedicated to enjoying and protecting our parks and public lands for everything from recreation, to wildlife conservation, to reservoirs for clean air and water. Who has not had the experience (or wants to) of sitting on an outcrop as the sun goes down, surrounded by nature, surrounded by friends, enjoying a great beer? This is what we want to capture and share, and to ensure is available for our kids, and their kids after them. Memories are created, and then later experienced through all our senses. Parks n' Pints wants to remind you that the next time you have a pint while visiting a park, memories will be created that can be drawn upon for the rest of your life. For these reasons, profits from Parks n' Pints will be used to create grants for students conducting research in parks and protected areas.
Why Parks n' Pints?
Parks n' Pints was born out of a passion for parks, and a taste for great beer – when this perfect pairing comes together, something magical happens! We wanted to capture this magic, and start giving back to the special places we love. As we continue to grow and evolve, we will partner with, and bring together, for-profit and non-profit conservation organizations, breweries, and brew pubs. These partnerships will foster relationships for events providing educational and fundraising opportunities to promote and conserve our special outdoor places. Parks n' Pints aims to be a conduit for great times, with great people, enjoying great beer, in the great outdoors!
